Yoji Takenaka - President and Chief Executive Officer, North America

Directing all operations in North America, Yoji Takenaka leads D3Publisher (D3P) as its president and chief executive officer. Takenaka provides D3P leadership and experience from more than 20 years in the interactive entertainment software industry as an executive in charge of business development and studio management. Takenaka also serves on the board of directors for D3, Inc.  

As director of business development at THQ, Inc. Takenaka led the expansion for the WWE brand, the company's most important product line. In addition, Takenaka was instrumental in the worldwide market development of more than 45 titles.  

Prior to his tenure at THQ, Inc., Takenaka was vice president of business development at Intermetrics Studio/Looking Glass Studios where he started a development studio that grew to a workforce of 150 in two years. Takenaka has also held executive positions with JVC and Turbo Graphics Inc.  

Takenaka holds a master’s degree from Columbia University in New York and completed his undergraduate work at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. 
 

Hidetaka Tachibana - Chief Financial Officer, North America

As chief financial officer, Hidetaka Tachibana brings financial expertise and global vision to the D3Publisher team.  His roles include researching and implementing strategic methods aimed at increasing D3P’s overall profitability in the game market, as well as managing key investor relationships and activities.  

With more than 18 years of experience in managerial and executive roles, Tachibana possesses a proven track record with a variety of financially successful corporations and business entities. Tachibana previously served as the director of store development and finances and was a board member at NetSquare Co, Ltd in Tokyo, Japan where he implemented store operation and development initiatives, as well as managed significant financial responsibilities. He also served as the director of store development and design at Fed Ex Kinko's Japan Co., Ltd where he formulated and executed company development projects.  
 

Peter Andrew - Vice President, Product Development – North America

Peter Andrew is vice president of product development at D3Publisher with more than 20 years of experience in the interactive entertainment industry. He oversees all aspects of product management and product planning on a global basis.  

Andrew began his career in 1989 and in 2003 became the technical director for THQ, Inc. He then moved on to manage central technology for Electronic Arts' Fusion Studio where he was responsible managing engineers and ensuring creation and delivery of all products for the studio.  

Andrew is a Charter Member at the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.  
 

Bill Anker - Vice President, Business Development and Licensing

Bill Anker brings more than 25 years of experience in the software business to D3Publisher. In his role as vice president of business development and licensing, Anker oversees D3P's content and product acquisition activities on a global basis and manages the company's relationships with licensors to develop quality interactive entertainment based upon licensed franchise brands.

Prior to joining D3P, Anker began his career as a sales manager at Softkat, helping the company to become the largest distributor of consumer oriented software in the world. Anker then joined Activision in 1992. As vice president of acquisitions, Anker was instrumental in Activision's growth from 30 employees and $5 million in annual sales to over 1500 employees worldwide and over $1 billion in annual sales.

As vice president of business development for Nikitova, Inc; one of the largest game asset outsourcing companies in the world, Anker furthered his entrepreneurial skills in one of the fastest growing areas of the interactive entertainment industry.  
 

Kim Motika - Vice President, Sales

Kim has more than 30 years of experience in the software and video game industries working in distribution, publishing, and logistics. As vice president of sales, Motika is responsible for all sales activities in North and South America for D3Publisher.

Kim started in the software industry selling statistical software to educational institutions and then moved to Ingram Entertainment where she helped build their distribution business to be the largest distributor of computer products in the world. Motika's experience includes positions at Ashton-Tate and Interplay, and consulting positions with THQ, TDK Media and Firstsource Corp.

Kim earned a degree in law from Whittier Law school in California.  
 

David Pava - Director, Marketing

As director of marketing, David Pava oversees brand and product management for all D3Publisher titles. David's career spans over 15 years in entertainment software and online marketing and development, creating and executing brand strategies for top product lines at companies like THQ, Inc., Codemasters, and 3DO

David's career beyond video games includes positions at Turner Broadcasting, where he pioneered online content development and community building at Turner Sports' WCW division, project management for Inktomi Corp's Fortune 500 client services division, and founding Problem Solver, an entertainment marketing and research consulting firm.
